Counselling

At ACTS, we believe that mental health and emotional well-being are fundamental to building strong, resilient communities. Our culturally responsive counselling services are designed to meet the unique needs of Black, Indigenous, and racialized individuals, families, and youth.

What We Offer

  • Individual Counselling
One-on-one sessions providing a safe, confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Our counsellors work with you to navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, cultural identity, grief, or trauma.
  • Youth & Family Counselling
We understand the importance of family and intergenerational dynamics, especially in newcomer and racialized communities. Our family sessions help strengthen communication, address conflict, and support youth navigating cultural pressures and identity.
  • Group Counselling & Support Circles
We offer group-based programs and peer support circles focusing on topics like healing from racial trauma, resilience-building, navigating immigration stress, and supporting mental wellness in community.
