Daisy Dodginghorse, a proud member of the Dene, Blackfoot, and Chippewa Cree Nations, has spent nearly a decade in the fitness industry, dedicating herself to fostering health and resilience within Indigenous communities. Growing up on a remote reserve, Daisy experienced the challenges of addiction and isolation firsthand and was determined from a young age to help break these cycles. Introduced to the gym at just 12 years old, she found her passion for fitness and wellness, igniting a lifelong commitment to advocating for physical, mental, and emotional well-being, especially among Indigenous youth.

As a fitness professional, Daisy’s work goes beyond physical training; she encourages a holistic lifestyle that supports the mind, body, and spirit. She believes in the transformative power of exercise, balanced nutrition, and community support to nurture personal growth and healing. Additionally, as a devoted single mother, Daisy has embraced the challenges of balancing parenthood with her mission, using her experiences to support others facing similar struggles. She advocates for single parents, helping them cultivate healthy lifestyles and overcome barriers to achieving their full potential.

Daisy recently expanded her role into the field of Outreach and Peer Support, where she assists Indigenous individuals on their recovery journeys. Integrating traditional teachings and ceremonies, she promotes a holistic approach to healing that connects individuals to their roots and reinforces their identity. Her ultimate goal is to create lasting change by fostering a culture of health, wellness, and resilience in Indigenous communities, empowering youth to lead the way toward a brighter, healthier future.
