Nqaba Costa Ndlovu has lived in England for over 15 years and worked as a senior mental health and addictions practitioner in various settings ranging from mother and baby units to geriatrics. Moved to Canada with his family and has worked as an Addictions Counsellor for AHS in Fort McMurray before joining a social profit organization where he worked as a Wellness Manager. Has experience working in acute admission wards, rehabilitation services, forensics, learning disabilities, community settings, and crisis resolution services both as a front-line worker, trainer and in leadership. His preferred style of leadership is a transformational and empowering approach. Passionate about tackling homelessness, poverty alleviation, and creating safety and support for community members experiencing mental illness, addictions and other socio-economic challenges. Advocate for cultural humility and appreciation for diversity. Believes there is a need to create safe spaces for healing and reconnection with self-worth.
